Cal earned one point on the day with a singles victory at court two from No. 21-ranked freshman Zsofi Susnayi. She defeated No. 38-ranked Hanna Mar, 6-2, 6-1, to log her 19th victory this year.

At the top doubles court, senior Jana Juricova and Susanyi had pulled out to a 7-2 lead over Mary Clayton and Ester Goldfield, but the match was stopped when Duke claimed the doubles point.
