Final Results 
OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. - Members of the California men's tennis team concluded play at the first tournament of the fall season on the third day (Sun., Sept. 18) of the 2011 Olympia Fields Country Club Fighting Illini Invitational. Only singles matches were played on the final day as sophomore Ben McLachlanclaimed a 6-3, 7-6 win over Notre Dame's Sam Keeton with a 12-10 win in the second-set tiebreaker.
Junior Riki McLachlan drew No. 28-ranked Casey Watt of Notre Dame and forced the Irish senior into a five-all tie in the first set. Watt broke Riki McLachlan'sserve and came up with a 7-5 win before he claimed the match with a 6-3 victory in the second set.
No. 45-ranked senior Nick Andrewswent three sets against Kentucky's 20th-ranked Alex Musialek. In the first-set tiebreaker, Musialek came up with a 7-3 win, but Andrews responded to win the second set, 6-2. Musialek earned the final point of the match as he sealed a 6-4 third-set win. The Bears are back in action as hosts of an exhibition dual match against the USTA Junior National Team on Wed., Sept. 21, at the Hellman Tennis Complex. Play begins at 1:30 p.m. PT.
