OJAI, Calif. - The top-ranked California women's tennis duo of senior Mari Andersson and junior Jana Juricova can add a Pac-10 crown to its already impressive resume when the Golden Bears take on USC's fifth-ranked team of Kaitlyn Christian and Maria Sanchez in the doubles title match of the 2011 Pac-10 Championships at 2 p.m. PT on Sun., May 1, at Libbey Park.

Cal's tandem became the first Bear team to advance to the championship match since 2008 when Marina Cossou and Claire Ilcinkas went as far before they fell to USC's sixth-ranked team of Amanda Fink and Gabriela Niculescu. Andersson and Juricova can add a seventh Pac-10 doubles title to Cal's mantle and become the first Bear pair to win the championship since Christina Fusano and Raquel Kops-Jones secured back-to-back trophies in 2002 and 2003.

Andersson and Juricova defeated Stanford's No. 43-ranked team of Kristie Ahn and Nicole Gibbs, 8-5, in the semifinal round to earn their team-high 37th doubles victory this season.

In the singles invitational tournament semifinal, freshman Alice Duranteau defeated Andjela Kankaras of Washington State in three sets, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, and will face Arizona's Susan McRann in the invitational final at 9:30 a.m. PT on Sunday.
