TEMPE, Ariz. - No. 4-ranked California women's tennis junior Jana Juricova put together her 12th consecutive victory in a 6-2, 7-5 win against No. 39 Nadine Fahoum and No. 41-ranked senior Mari Andersson earned her 13th straight singles win, 6-7, 6-2, 7-5, over No. 74 Ellah Nze to notch two points for the seventh-ranked Golden Bears (10-3, 2-0 Pac-10), who fell, 5-2, to No. 5 Duke (12-2, 2-0 ACC) on Fri., Mar. 11, at the Whiteman Tennis Complex.

The Bears' fourth-ranked duo of Andersson and Juricova pushed its doubles winning streak to an incredible 16 straight with an 8-1 win over Rachel Kahan and Nze to start the day. On court three, senior Marina Cossou and freshman Anett Schutting couldn't get past the 50th-ranked team of Mary Clayton and Monica Gorny, as they lost, 8-2. The Devils added one more point on another close win when No. 71 Plotkin came away with a 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 win over No. 38-ranked Davis at court four. Andersson was the last one off the courts to make the score, 5-2.
