USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships Home Page

FLUSHING, N.Y. - California men's tennis junior Nick Andrews and sophomore Christoffer Konigsfeldt were eliminated from contention in the doubles quarterfinal of the 2010 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Tennis Championship on Friday, Nov. 5, at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The No. 29-ranked Golden Bears had their seven-match winning streak snapped in a narrow 9-7 loss to the fourth-seeded and No. 10-ranked tandem of Chris and Marcel Thiemann of Mississippi. Andrews and Konigsfeldt will return to Berkeley to prepare for the spring dual season.

Senior Bozhidar Katsarov and freshman Ben McLachlan are in action this weekend (Nov. 5-7) at the Gael Classic hosted by Saint Mary's College at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex in Moraga, Calif. Please visit CalBears.com for results.
